What's the difference between a freestanding and a built-in griddle?
A freestanding griddle sits on its own cart and can be placed anywhere you have a gas connection, with no construction needed. A built-in griddle is a griddle head only, designed to be installed into a non-combustible enclosure or custom outdoor kitchen island, with proper cutout, ventilation, clearance, gas, and electrical planning done by a qualified installer.
What can I cook on a gas griddle?
Griddles work well for breakfast foods, smash burgers, vegetables, seafood, stir-fries, and hibachi-style meals on one flat-top surface, often with independently controlled cooking zones so you can prepare different foods at different temperatures at once.
