What's the difference between a freestanding and a built-in gas grill?
A freestanding grill sits on its own cart and can be placed anywhere you have a gas connection, with no construction needed. A built-in grill is a grill head only, designed to be installed into a non-combustible enclosure or custom outdoor kitchen island, with proper cutout, ventilation, clearance, gas, and electrical planning done by a qualified installer.
Are gas grills available in both natural gas and propane?
Yes, across every brand we carry, grills are available in either natural gas or propane configurations.
Do built-in grills require professional installation?
Built-in grill heads need to be installed in a suitable non-combustible enclosure with the correct cutout, ventilation, clearance, gas, and electrical setup. We recommend reviewing the installation manual and working with a qualified installer before construction.
