American Made Grills FAQ

We carry four American Made Grills built-in grill heads: the Estate (30, 36 and 42 inches), the Atlas (36 inches), and the Encore and Muscle hybrids (36 and 54 inches). Each comes in natural gas or propane. Shop American Made Grills.

The grills we list are built-in grill heads for an outdoor kitchen island. Each size has its own cutout, listed in the Overall Assembled Dimensions tab on the product page. If your island is made of combustible material, American Made Grills sells insulated grill liners separately. Confirm the cutout, clearances and liner needs against the installation manual with a qualified installer before you build.

The Encore and Muscle are hybrid grills. Their patented 14-gauge multi-fuel trays let you cook on gas, charcoal, lump charcoal, wood chunks or a mix, and the 22,000-BTU gas burners light the solid fuel. The 36-inch models have five burners (110,000 BTUs) and the 54-inch models have eight (176,000 BTUs). Shop the hybrid grills.

The Estate uses 26,000-BTU cast red brass H-burners with heat-zone separators, adds a 12,000-BTU infrared back burner, and comes with a grill cover, rotisserie kit, drop-in sear burner, griddle plate, smoker tray and care kit. The Atlas uses three 18,000-BTU stainless U-tube burners and comes with a grill cover; its rotisserie kit and drop-in infrared sear burner are sold separately.

Every model is made in a natural gas version and a propane version. Choose your fuel when you order, since each version has its own part number. Have a qualified gas technician make the gas connection.

American Made Grills says its grills are designed, tested and made in the USA, from #304 stainless steel.
